Hearths of the Paroch of Dalrumple 1691

In 1690 a one - off tax payable at Candlemass (2nd February 1691) took place. the tax was introduced in an attempt to pay back monies advanced to the Shires and Burghs and to reduce the arrears of the army. A list of those who 'payed' heart tax in Dalrymple in 1691. This is a transcription of another persons research and I cannot validate its accuracy as I have not had access to the original source. It is useful as a window showing family names, and some property names, present in the parish at that time. The number after the name refers to the number of hearths.
