John Hamilton in the woodhouse being cited in as witness agtt the sd Hugh, Compeard, says yt he heard them Swearing by God and by yr Consciences as they were Sinners and that they were Singing when he awoke out of his sleep And also on the Munday morning when he got up from bed. He being asked if he knew who it was yt was Swearing and Singing he told that John Templetonne was one of them.
John Templetonne being inted callid, Compeard and being askid if he hiard any Swearing and Singing upon Sabbath night last, ..... says he saw none, But accknowledges yt a certain of the Company late up are night, and yt they did Drink part and yt he Sung Songs but it was about two of the clock on the Munday Morning, but does not mind yt there was any swearing yet he can't say they Swear none.
