Mary Murdoch was married to Dr J.F. McGill, son of John McGill
from Sundrum Smithy, at Holehouse on 23rd December 1862. They
at first took up house in the village of Joppa, where all their
family were born, but afterwards moved to Coylebank, a house
which the doctor extended so as to suit his extensive practice
better.

She married William Sloan, farmer. He died 1940.
